Our Story
Bob and Courtney Higginbotham have spent their lives in service to others. Bob dedicated over 30 years to law enforcement, retiring as a Police Captain. Courtney holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and has always been drawn to caring for and nurturing others.
When they decided to open Evergreen Haven, it wasn't just a business decision — it was a mission. They saw what large facilities looked like from the inside, heard the stories from families, and knew they could do better. Smaller. Warmer. More personal.
Together, they've been married for 30 years and share a deep commitment to building the kind of place they'd want for their own family members — a real home, with real care.

Our RN brings extensive dementia care expertise to the team, providing clinical oversight, monitoring subtle changes, and ensuring medical decisions are thoughtful and family-informed.
